Shady Rest Tract is a residential subdivision in Mammoth Lakes. This small neighborhood is located right in town within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and more. Given its proximity to town, the large pine trees around this cul-de-sac do a great job of canceling out any noise.

The Shady Rest Tract is located off of Laurel Mountain Road which runs parallel to Old Mammoth Road. On Old Mammoth Road you will find your favorite restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. The hospital and schools are just a couple blocks away which is about a five-minute walk. This cul-de-sac is quiet and some of the homes back up to a small forest where there are walking and bike trails. This “small forest” is about 25 acres and was sold to the Town of Mammoth Lakes and is now called “The Parcel.” This area of land will be built into housing units with locals in mind. This is a huge benefit to our community, as we have a significant shortage of long-term rentals.
